The Only Vlog You Need for Kraków, Poland | S12E2

Welcome back to Kraków, Poland. In Episode 2, we take on one of the city’s most iconic walks — the Royal Route — beginning at St. Florian’s Church and following the historic path south toward Wawel Royal Castle and the legendary Wawel Dragon, Smok Wawelski. (or as i was introduced to him Krak the Kraków Dragon) As always with Kraków, the city does not make it easy to walk in a straight line. Even when you try to stay loyal to the main route, its beauty keeps pulling you away. Along the way we pass some of the great historic icons of Kraków Old Town, including the Grunwald Monument, the Kraków Barbican, St. Florian’s Gate, and Floriańska Street, before letting the city tempt us off the direct line and into Mały Rynek, the Little Market Square. From there, we add another layer to the episode with a stop inside 442 Sport Pub, my number one pick for watching football in Kraków, before joining the Royal Route once again and continuing deeper through the old city. The walk then carries us onward toward Wawel Hill, where Wawel Royal Castle rises above the city and Smok Wawelski, the famous Wawel Dragon, waits below by the river. This is one of those episodes where Kraków really shows its character. It is not just beautiful — it is distracting in the best possible way. Every street feels like it wants your attention.
