This is great a blast from the past. In my youth Robert Edmondson and Philip Waldron were the up and coming new kids on the block hoping to follow in the footsteps of now established stars Pat Eddery and Tony Murray. Here the last race on Channel following 4 days of The Western Meeting is won by Philip Waldron with Tony Murray who was having a renaissance that season in second.
