Siddha Secrets: The First Murugan Temple & The Thiruchendur Connection

Siddha Secrets: The First Murugan Temple & The Thiruchendur Connection Siddha Secrets meets sacred history in this powerful podcast, where ShriGuru Vamanan Sesshadri speaks with Dr. Thenkasi Eswaran (70)—a lineage holder of Siddha wisdom—about Murugan, Temple science, and why Tiruchendur still holds untold truths. From an intense Parpa Vibhuthi that “pulls neer/toxins” through the forehead to rare oral traditions and Olai Chuvadi palm-leaf notes, this episode links body, mind, and devotion. You’ll hear the hidden travel narrative of Lord Murugan—the Tirupati connection, the Vel-giving legend, and the startling claim that an older Murugan Temple at Tiruchendur could be submerged, with today’s shrine carrying Shiva (Pancha Lingam) echoes. The conversation moves to Ilanji as an early Murugan abode and the Manapad mango-tree legend tied to Surapadman. Also shared: the chilling story of “snake manuscripts” (Yuddha Sarpa Kandam) burnt to prevent misuse, and a Chennai Temple miracle trail—Ponmar, Jeeva Samadhi signs, lemon remedy incidents, and a skeptic turned devotee. Finally, true Kayakalpa: north-facing roots, regrowth ethics, and the “nature-scent body” idea.
