Heavy and Gritty Jam on the Vhikk X "Rough Swings"

In pursuit of my post per day, I'm usually working across several ideas at once, and then one idea takes off. Tips support the daily uploads and new gear: https://ko-fi.com/cameronc This jam is no different, as I was working on accompaniment for another jam. I had the sequence down, but didn't find other pairings that I liked. In learning more about Pamela's Pro Workout, I started testing out how I could use Euclidian sequences, and loops. I ditched the Euclidian sequence that I was testing as accompaniment and moved over to a loop to create the oscillating variations, and then timed the effects toggling on and off with the loop. The Vhikk X does the fat and dirty sounds so well, I'm working on ways to capture that with enough variety and variation that it's not just the same thing over and over. Thanks for listening, and I hope you're having a good day! The equipment: Forge TME Vhikk X: https://www.perfectcircuit.com/forge-... 4ms Eurorack 32hp Skif: https://www.perfectcircuit.com/m2e/4m...
