Low D Dorian membrane reed bagpipe

I've been making instruments such as the Foonki and the rubber glove bagpipe using membrane reeds for over 20 years years and have been using garbage bin plastic liner for my reeds. But recently I got the idea from the wonderful French instrument designer and maker Nicolas Bras to use vinyl or nitrite gloves as the material for these membrane reeds. So I changed the garbage bin liner plastic membrane reed to a nitrite glove membrane reed on a low D Dorian Foonki that I'd made previously and paired it with the low D drone from my old condom bagpipe and here is the result. The sound is much more mellow. Thanks Nicholas.
