What If Michael Jackson Sang a Clean Acoustic Version of Devil Trigger?

CUT VERSION DUE TO YTP FULL VERSION IS HERE:    • Devil Trigger - Clean Acoustic Guitar MJ S...   ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is my MJ style acoustic guitar-led vocal cover of Devil Trigger, Nero's battle theme from Devil May Cry 5. For this version, I deliberately wanted to go in almost the complete opposite direction from the original song. Devil Trigger has a very dense, aggressive, gritty and heavily processed sound, with a lot of its energy coming from the electronic production, harder textures and overall intensity. My version is much cleaner, simpler and more restrained. I kept the arrangement as uncluttered as I reasonably could, with acoustic guitar carrying most of the instrumental foundation while my vocals stay at the forefront of the entire cover. The guitar is important to the sound, but this is not meant to be a completely stripped down acoustic performance either. I still used additional sounds, layers, editing and production where I felt they helped the song. The main goal was simply to keep everything controlled and clean while giving the vocals as much space as possible. I kept the recognizable melody, structure and original English lyrics of Devil Trigger, but changed the overall musical feel to suit this calmer and more direct approach. Instead of trying to match the intensity of the original production, I built the arrangement around the way I wanted to sing the song. Vocally, I approached it through my MJ inspired singing style. Every vocal you hear was sung and recorded by me. The timing, pronunciation, phrasing, melodies, harmonies, dynamics, vocal layers and ad libs all come from my own performance. After recording, I used my custom RVC processing together with editing, effects and mixing to bring parts of my vocal tone closer to the MJ sound I wanted. I tried to push that character as close as I reasonably could without overprocessing the vocals or sacrificing the quality of my original performance. RVC did not generate the singing and there are no original Michael Jackson vocals used in this cover. The vocal performance itself is 100% my own.
