SMRT C651 [207/208]: Departing Tanah Merah

Train model: Siemens C651 Trainset: 207/208 Line: East West Line - Changi Airport Extension Stretch: Departing EW4CG Tanah Merah Terminus: (3) CG2 Changi Airport (Filmed on - 30 September 2024, Monday) And with that, my Siemens C651 activites for this channel has come to a close. 207/208 is the last C651 train (and for CGL) to be in service on the NSEWL, and it's last day was on 30 September. It's amazing to see how an unrefurbished MRT train retaining the old SMRT logo for almost 30 years in service has lived / survived this long (longer than 213/214) and running with the first debuted R151 set (839/840) on the North South Line in June for the entire one month when it entered the NSL during the R151 first anniversary on 4 June this year after running with R151 trains for one whole year. A truthful happy ending for my most favourite pre-KSF / SIE train (since 2021) and till we meet again, Siemens C651 trains!
