🎄 ஆடுவோம், பாடுவோம், இயேசு பிறந்தாரே! 🎄Rejoice, Jesus Is Born! A Christmas Dhandiya of Joy, Heritage & Hope. Lyrics & Tune: V. Geetha (Canada) Music, video Production and voice enhancement (with the assistance of Artificial Intelligence): S. Sam (Canada) This Christmas Dhandiya celebrates the King who came and the King who is coming again, tracing the story of our Lord Jesus from Bethlehem to the trumpet announcing His return. Christmas has always held a special place in our hearts, filled with carols, worship, fellowship, joyful dancing, and treasured childhood memories. My husband and I grew up in Thanjavur, surrounded by a rich Christian heritage where faith, Tamil culture, music, and joyful celebration beautifully came together. The special Christmas carols hosted by members of the beloved Rav Sahib Abraham Pandithar family, along with the beautiful Kolaattams and Keerthanais organized by the beloved Sastriar and his family, have been precious blessings to the Christian community. Inspired by these cherished memories of Kolaattam, Tamil Keerthanais, and Christmas carols, my husband and I created this Christmas Dhandiya to joyfully celebrate the grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is more than a Christmas song; it is a joyful journey from the manger to the promised return of our King. The song begins with the story of the first Christmas: the angel’s proclamation of “good news that will cause great joy” and the heavenly host praising God (Luke 2:10–14). It also recalls the response of the shepherds, who went to Bethlehem and returned glorifying and praising God, and the worship of the wise men who came to see the newborn King and bowed down and worshipped Him (Luke 2:15–20; Matthew 2:1–11). The song then turns our hearts toward the promised return of Christ — when the Lord will descend from heaven with the trumpet of God, when His angels will gather His elect, and when every eye will see Him coming with the clouds, with power and great glory (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Matthew 24:30–31; Revelation 1:7). ❤️ Please Share and Use This Song to Glorify Our Lord !
