The Phoenix Trinity Kovert X might be one of the flattest and fastest-shooting 2011 pistols I’ve tested — and on day one, it helped me set a NEW Bill Drill PR at 1.45 seconds clean. In this video, I put the Phoenix Trinity Kovert X through a full range session to see what this ported 2011 can really do. We run Bill Drills, High Five, reload drills, 10 Out of 10, and finish with the Double Cross drill. The results were impressive. The Kovert X produced a 1.45-second CLEAN Bill Drill, beating my previous 1.47 PR. It also ran a 4.71 High Five — one of my fastest ever — and turned in an extremely fast 10 Out of 10 performance. Phoenix Trinity and KOVERT teamed up to build a pistol that combines aggressive styling with serious performance. The rose-gold and black finish, aggressive grip texture, compensator, slide cuts and Phoenix Trinity’s first-ever ported pistol setup make the Kovert X one of the most unique 2011s I’ve had on the channel. There are a couple things I’ll probably change — namely the slide racker/optic plate and the short factory magazine release — but when it comes to shooting performance, this thing absolutely rips.
