Hidden among the mountains of Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way lies Healy Pass - a spectacular ribbon of tarmac winding through some of the country's most breathtaking scenery. For one extraordinary day, the mountain road was closed to the public. And the silence was broken by the sound of the Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-DM. Behind the wheel, James Deane takes on 44 corners and 3.3 kilometres of mountain road in a cinematic display of precision, control and the art of drifting. No judges. No championship points. No competition. Just man, machine and mountain. This is WILD ATLANTIC DRIFT. THE MAKING OF HEALY PASS Created during the chaos of the Drift Masters end-of-season schedule, this ambitious project was captured in a single five-hour filming session. With the support of local authorities, An Garda Síochána, experienced Drift Event marshals, FPV pilots and an incredible production crew, Healy Pass was transformed into a closed-road filming location. Months of imagination brought to life in just a few hours.
