Enhance your rear visibility and safety on the road by adding the Givi E135 LED Stop Light Kit to your Givi V47 Monokey top case.
In this step-by-step, we walk you through the complete installation process on a Kawasaki Versys, covering everything from mounting the LEDs inside the V47 case to routing the wiring through the top case plate for a clean, tidy finish with automatic contact points.
No matter what bike you ride, this was done on our Versys 1000, this upgrade ensures following traffic notices your braking instantly.
*Disclaimer: this is not meant as a tutorial however it is just documenting how we done this and keeping it as clean and tidy a job as possible.
We purchased this kit ourselves from 24mx website and cost approx. €63 delivered and is not sponsored in anyway.
Tools & Parts we used
Givi E135 LED Stop Light Kit (specifically for the V47 top case) - Link: Givi Stop Light Kit | 24MX https://share.google/Zcq67JYXGoOAkHoPk
Givi Top Case Plate (Monokey compatible)
Electric drill and small drill bits
Small hammer
Screwdriver set
Wire strippers / crimping tool
Multimeter (recommended to test brake lines)
I also used 2 part epoxy resin glue, hot glue stick, masking tape, and duct tape.
**Electrical Safety Warning - Always disconnect your motorcycle's battery or turn off the ignition before splicing into factory wiring to prevent short circuits or blowing fuses. Note I have not spliced into any wiring but added to the existing connector at the existing tail/brake light.**
Special thanks to @goosecustomsireland7129 for helping with connecting to the existing wiring.
