Consumer-grade wearable devices offer a promising approach for real-time monitoring of physiological and behavioral markers relevant to brain injury rehabilitation and recovery. This webinar will explore the feasibility of deploying commercially available wearable technology in pediatric concussion research and the potential for wearable-derived data to support precision rehabilitation approaches, including the identification of clinically meaningful patient subgroups. In this webinar, Dr. Adrian Svingos will present early findings from the Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins PRECISE Center. She will be joined by Dr. Danielle Ransom, who will share complementary work from the affiliated Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. Speakers will facilitate discussion, contributing their perspectives on the opportunities and challenges of incorporating wearable technology into pediatric concussion research and clinical care.
