After following up one of the most critically panned seasons of Drag Race ever, Drag Race España Season 4 had a LOT of work to do. It needed to not only revitalize the show's viewership, but it also needed to rebuild its legacy as a whole. There were many nay-sayers and doubters, but once the season aired in 2024, it defied all expectations. With iconic queens like Le Cocó, La Bella Vampi (née Vampirashian), and La Niña Delantro introduced into the pantheon of Drag Race queens, all of which had amazing lip syncs and challenge performances, the level of talent that expounded from this season was palpable. And that, in combination with production's restraint in rigging the season to repeat age-old storylines, resulted in a season that rebounded the franchise like no other, and cemented it as one of the best seasons within the RuPaul's Drag Race Cinematic Universe.
