Boomerang - Various Commercials & Oddities during "Boomerock" (23 December 2002)

again i don't even care someone beat me to this upload, i'm not letting a shit upload in the wrong ass aspect ratio with shit bitrate and missing a few breaks stop me. i spent all day trying to deinterlace the one file i had and welp i'm using this one. not like the bumps in the tape were mastered in 60fps anyways... I am amazed with this finding here, as it finally proves my point where Boomerock aired in 2002 despite only having a press release online as early as 2003. There's several things that tell me this is 2002 (obviously) the screenbug, the XDS (which is how I got the direct date of this tape) and the promos shown here. Absolutely an interesting tape here, as it starts exactly on the 12am slot of December 23rd, 2002. Meaning this is the final Boomerock block from the 2002 marathon! The taper for the first bit cut out the breaks during "I Yabba Doo!" so I left in a few snippets that were cut out. Should I note how this tape has no use of "You're Watching" bumpers, which shocks me. I know they did exist thanks to confirmation of Wingnut's encode, but hey, we get some VERY unique intermission/next bumpers filled in the marathon, which I assume followed the same format-ish as the Yogi Bear Marathon did back in 2000/2001. The promos aired here are VERY equivalent to the spammed Viewfinders/CN promos from the Much-A-Doo About Scooby marathon SHOULD I NOTE lol. A massive thank you for John Bartley621 on archive.org for finding a tape that was recorded around my favorite era of Boomerang to archive/research! You know you're gonna get something good when you find footage of that sweet pre-2003 screenbug :) https://archive.org/details/the-flintstone...
