Today I will show you a brand-new software license I got to test myself. It's the only working solution for this job! No other tool can do this at the moment, and I saw it for myself. The Key Programming for VAG Immo 5C vehicles (add spare key Hitag-Pro) (VN024) license is now at pre-order at the ABRITES online shop. I had a client today, who wanted me to add a spare third key to his VW T-Roc. He already had two available working keys, so all I needed to do was to add a new (virgin aftermarket) one. The first step is to collect the data from the working key (or keys like in this case). This is done via the RH850 menu under VAG MQB 5C Key Learning option. Select how many working keys you have and go on to read them using Protag. After you read the keys, state how many you want to program (1 in this case), and choose if you want to reuse the previously available key's data (key ID). It is much more convenient to use available key ID and clone an existing key, so I choose to do so. The next step is to dismantle the dashboard from the car, read and write it with the RH850 programmer. When you are done, return the dashboard to its original state (unsolder the CB501 wires and return all the removed capacitors), and put it back inside the car. The final step is to program the keys back to the vehicle using Protag. It's a simple VAG Key Programming procedure under the ABRITES Diagnostics for VAG vehicles menu. And that's all!
