Old-Fashioned Cottage Kitchens Before Open Concept | Small Spaces With Timeless Character

Old-fashioned cottage kitchens before open concept offer a different kind of comfort: a room with its own doorway, useful cupboards, a central table, and everyday objects close at hand. This visual design film explores small cottage kitchens filled with painted cabinetry, pantry walls, apron-front sinks, open plate racks, aged wood, floral curtains, and shelves of practical china and pottery. Each space considers how a compact, separate kitchen can feel organized, welcoming, and deeply personal. From a window-side washing-up corner to a freestanding table for baking, flowers, and tea, these traditional kitchen ideas celebrate the quiet beauty of a room that holds the rhythm of a whole day. #cottagekitchen #vintagekitchen #smallkitchenideas #traditionalinteriors #cottagehome
