Another day begins at Lap Le Hill Farm with our regular routine of releasing the chickens, feeding the different flocks, checking their drinking water, and observing their condition around the hillside farm. Caring for thousands of chickens every day is an important part of our poultry farming work. Today we take care of the chickens in Houses No. 2, No. 3, and No. 5 before moving to Chicken House No. 1. The previous flock has already left the farm, so the house is now empty and ready for a complete cleaning and preparation process. We begin by thoroughly sweeping the empty chicken house and removing the remaining dirt and debris. After that, the house is washed carefully, and the drinking water lines are disinfected while there are no chickens inside. Keeping the equipment and housing clean is an essential part of responsible poultry farming. Once the chicken house has been thoroughly washed, we prepare lime for the next stage of cleaning. Water is added to the lime, causing it to react, expand, and break apart before it is applied throughout the house. The lime is then spread and applied evenly across the chicken house. After the entire area has been treated, the house will be left to rest for a period of time. This preparation helps disinfect the environment before a new flock of chicks arrives and is an important step in practical poultry farming. From caring for thousands of chickens in the active houses to completely cleaning and preparing an empty house, every part of the farm requires regular attention. Feeding, water checks, cleaning, and housing preparation are all part of the daily rhythm of poultry farming. Thank you for spending another day with us at Lap Le Hill Farm. We hope you enjoy the natural farm sounds, hillside scenery, and another real look at everyday poultry farming life in rural Vietnam.
