CU Harrodsburg Soccer vs. Berea College | Doubleheader Scrimmage | August 20, 2021

Campbellsville University Harrodsburg men’s and women’s soccer welcomed nearby Berea College to Hilpp Family Field in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, for a preseason doubleheader scrimmage. The afternoon offered both Pioneer programs an opportunity to take the field against outside competition while continuing preparations for the upcoming season. With the men’s and women’s teams competing back-to-back, the doubleheader also captures a glimpse of the growing soccer culture surrounding CU Harrodsburg and its home at Hilpp Family Field. More than the results of a preseason scrimmage, footage like this preserves the everyday moments that made up Pioneer Athletics — teammates supporting one another, coaches preparing their programs, and two CU Harrodsburg teams sharing the field with the community around them. The matchup with Berea also brought together two nearby Kentucky programs, providing both Pioneer teams an early opportunity to compete before turning their attention toward the regular season. This doubleheader is preserved as part of the Campbellsville University Harrodsburg Athletics Archive, documenting the games, people, places and moments that shaped Pioneer Athletics.
