Tortosa City in Tarragona, Spain | Walking Tour along Ebro River to Suda Castle

Tortosa is located by the ancient Ebro River, and is the capital of Baix Ebre in the Province of Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain. It was under Muslim rule for more than 400 years. The city was conquered by the Count Ramon Berenguer IV of Barcelona in 1148 (wiki). We were walking along the river, near the port where you can see an iconic boat, Lo Sirgador. We continued walking up to the Suda Castle where you get a magnificent view of the mythical river, the cathedral, and the old houses. We were travelling with travel company, BCN Montjuic Tourist Point on June 6, 2021. It was a side trip from our Peniscola Tour. Tortosa is about 2 hours from Barcelona City.
