Generativa 1 — Generative Ambient Music for Deep Focus & Sleep | Davide Botta

Generativa 1 — a generative electronic ambient piece by Davide Botta. Self-evolving drone and slow harmonic drift, played rather than written. Headphones, low volume. The first of two works in the Generativa series. Both pieces are improvisations on a patch built from VCV Rack, the Sonicware LIVEN Ambient Ø and a Behringer Crave. Nothing here was sequenced in advance — the system provides the material, and the performance is the decision-making. Quiet, patient, unhurried. Made to sit underneath whatever you are doing, or to be the only thing you are doing. — SERIES — Generativa — two generative ambient works.
