I visited a Costco near Paris to see how the American warehouse has adapted to a country famous for its bakeries, markets, cheese shops and incredible food culture. I explore the French products, prices, bakery, fresh food, unusual finds and food court to see how different it is from Costco in the UK. France still has relatively few Costco warehouses, so I also look at why the company’s expansion has been slower than originally expected — and whether French Costco is actually worth visiting.
