Stihl 28-2 PolyCut assembly. Step-by-step how to change trimmer head from string to polycut blades

In this video I will show you how to swap out a trimmer head on a Stihl straight shaft trimmer to a polycut 28-2 head with plastic cutting blades. With the trimmer sitting on the ground locate the hole on the gear box near the trimmer head. Use the round tool that came with your trimmer to lock the trimmer head into place. Turn the trimmer head to the left to remove from the unit. Install the polycut head and and secure it by turning it to the right. Hand tighten the head on the unit.
