مديح يا حبيب الله O beloved of God

نَظْمُ الشَّيخِ مُحَمَّدِ أَبِي الهُدَى اليَعْقُوبِيِّ By Shaykh Muhammad Al-Yaqoubi يَا حَبِيبَ اللهِ إِنِّي O most beloved of Allah ذُبْتُ حُبًّا فِي هَوَاكْ My heart has melted in your love لَا أَنَامُ اللَّيلَ إِلَّا I don't sleep at night except رُمْتُ فِيهِ أَنْ أَرَاكْ In hope to see you in my dream وَفُؤَادِي مِنْ حَنِينِي And my heart because of yearning طَارَ شَوْقًا لِـحِمَاكْ For you has flown to your place إِنَّ عِيدِي يَا حَبِيبِي My feast indeed O my Beloved لَمْ يَزَلْ يَوْمَ لِقَاكْ Has always been the day I meet you بِالصَّلَاةِ وَالسَّلَامِ I send prayers and salutations فِي دَلَائِلِ الخَيْرَاتْ Through Dala'il al-Khayrat أَرْتَجِي نَيْلَ المَرَامِ In hope to gain all what I wish for وَحُصُولَ البَرَكَاتْ And blessings of every type أَنْتَ خَيْرُ الخَلْقِ طُرًّا You're the best of all mankind وَرَسُولٌ لِلْأَنَامْ Sent indeed to all humanity رَحْمَةً قَدْ جِئْتَ حَقًّا You've come with mercy to all the worlds شَافِعًا يَوْمَ الزِّحَامْ To intercede on the Final Day
