This was the most INSANE mountain drive of my life 😰 | SHIPKI LA 🇮🇳 | Kapla to Nako | Episode - 5

🏔️ Spiti Circuit 2026 | Episode 05 Kalpa to Nako via the mighty Shipki La Pass 🇮🇳 — and honestly, this was the BEST day of our entire journey so far! We start our morning in the beautiful village of Kalpa and begin making our way deeper into the Kinnaur Valley. As we leave the greenery behind, the landscape changes dramatically — from lush mountains to massive, barren rock-cut cliffs. Along the way, we stop at a beautiful waterfall and even give our car a much-needed wash at one of the famous washing spots on this route. But after crossing Pooh, the journey takes a completely different turn. Our next destination is Shipki La, located near the Indo-Tibet border. To reach the summit, we had to drive around 40 kilometres through narrow, steep and mostly single-lane mountain roads. And honestly, this was one of the most nerve-wracking drives of my life. There was practically no room for a mistake. The roads you'll see in this vlog will show you exactly why I was so worried while driving. 😰 After finally reaching Shipki La, we continued our journey towards the famous Khab Sangam, where the Spiti River meets the Sutlej River. And then came another little adventure... We decided to fly the drone here, but the winds were SO strong that, for a moment, I genuinely thought I was going to lose my drone, again! 😂 After surviving the roads, the altitude, the wind and the drone adventure, we finally made it to our destination — Nako Village. From Kalpa's greenery to the barren landscapes of Kinnaur, from the terrifying Shipki La roads to Khab Sangam and finally Nako... This was easily the best day of our journey so far. ❤️ And trust me, you don't want to skip this one.
