#KanhaNationalPark #Barasingha #ConservationStory The Conservation Story Of Barasingha - How Efforts of 7 Decades Changed Everything Barasingha - The Soul Of Kanha - A Conservation Film | Wildlife Documentary I never imagined, when I first visited this jungle, that one day I would make a film for this park. Today, it feels like a dream come true. I’m humbled and deeply grateful to have had the opportunity to showcase the incredible work done by the green soldiers of the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department to bring the Barasingha back from the edge of extinction. Nothing happens overnight. It took nearly seven decades of dedication, hard work, and sacrifice by so many people to reach this point — from a population of just 66 to more than 1,000 Barasingha today. It is considered one of India’s most incredible and successful conservation stories, and for good reason. Behind these numbers are decades of perseverance, countless people, and a shared commitment to protecting a species and giving it a second chance.
