Part 1 of this Video I show you how to remove most of the upper end of my 5.7 Hemi engine. I am going to a full paint job on parts and Will be building some custom piece for the truck. She will be getting performance upgrades from motor to drive train. TIME STAMPS 0:00 – Intro 4:28 – removal of wheel well liner 10:48 – removal of battery, battery tray, and Fuse block 20:51 – removal of air filter assembly and brackets 22:04 – removal of engine belt 25:41 – disconnecting A/C lines from compressor 28:48 – disconnecting A/C lines going into truck 29:58 – disconnecting A/C lines from condenser 34:10 – Plasma Cut the bolts holding the cats to the exhaust manifold 37:01 – disconnecting front drive shaft, removing bracket cover flex plate/torque converter bolts 37:35 – removing starter 39:30 – disconnecting starter plug and nuts 40:45 – removing radiator hoses 41:48 – disconnecting heater core hoses 43:21 – disconnected fuel line from fuel rail 44:02 – removing alternator 46:07 – removing fuel rails and injectors 48:05 – removing air intake manifold 49:01 – cutting one of the rounded off bolts on the intake 49:50 - end
