The "Ruined" Character Who Outlived His Own Anime

Escanor became the most popular hero of Seven Deadly Sins, even when the animation quality of his big moments failed him. This video looks at how a character can carry an entire series, even when the production behind him falls apart. We examine the reanimated scenes that fans hated, the contrast between the manga and the screen, and why Escanor remains a standout figure in anime history. By looking at his brutal battle and his eventual fate, we can see how the writing often outlives the technical execution of the show. It is easy to focus on bad animation, but the best anime fight scenes are defined by the weight behind the punches. We break down why these specific character arcs matter so much to the audience, even when the studio struggles to keep up with the source material. Do you think Escanor deserved a better final fight, or was his ending perfect as it was? Tell me in the comments.
