🦷🏉 “I wasn’t afraid of much, but I was frightened s***tless of him.” Graham Price played every test match over three tours with the British Lions. During a Wales tour to Australia, his jaw was broken from a punch. The Pontypool Front Row legend chats in this video with John Evans, his former dentist, who had a practice in the town. The long-time friends share some great stories and talk about how “uplifting” it is to socialise and laugh together. The pair started a weekly walk in Cwmbran during 2021, where former rugby players meet up for a stroll and a catch-up. It’s still going strong. Every Christmas, they organise a breakfast at Goode’s Gym where dozens of players come together. This year’s event and this interview took place on Thursday 18 December 2025.
