Automatic Screw Machine Co. – Los Angeles, c. 1928–1942 This is a promotional film about Automatic Screw Machine Co., a Los Angeles precision machine shop owned by partners Ernest M. Carlson and Arthur A. Andersen. They also ran Motor Grinding Co. The shop was at 1020 W. 11th St. and moved to 800 E. Gage Ave. in the mid-1930s. It used automatic screw machines to turn metal bar stock into screws, bolts, fittings and other precision parts.
