Homeless People Get Ready for the Cold — A Hard Day of Work

Homeless people living by the dump spend the whole day cleaning up their forest camp, building a small home from found materials, and washing clothes by hand. The camp sits right next to the dump, and the noise of trucks never fades. Sergey and Lena start by bagging up the plastic and bottles piled around the camp, and soon Yulia and Sasha join in. Then the main project continues: Sasha and Sergey are building a small house for Lena from rusty nails and a tarp found at the dump, with poles from what grows around the camp. By evening the roof is covered and the second wall is up. Meanwhile, Yulia and Lena do the laundry by hand, since there's no washing machine and nowhere nearby to wash. The white socks are the hardest part. When the work is done, it's time for tea and coffee in thermoses that were also found at the dump. And then a sudden pop comes from the fire barrel. ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS: 00:00 A new workday begins at the camp 00:21 Cleaning up trash around the camp 02:08 Yulia and Sasha join the cleanup 04:29 Building a small house for Lena 06:45 Laundry by hand, no washing machine 07:26 Covering the roof with a found tarp 08:59 Tent work done for the day 12:13 Tea and coffee in found thermoses 13:29 A sudden pop in the fire 14:08 Goodbye from the camp 🔥 WATCH MORE: Homeless Build a HOME From Trash to Survive by the Dump    • Homeless Build a HOME From Trash to Surviv...   Homeless Fix Their ROOF by the Dump — Winter Is Coming!    • Homeless Fix Their ROOF by the Dump — Wint...   Homeless Build a Winter Home & Cook Soup From Dump Finds    • Homeless Build a Winter Home & Cook Soup F...   💬 Do you think Sasha and Sergey are building the tent the right way?
