Radiation or Mastectomy? Understanding DCISionRT & My Turning Point

In this episode, I discuss the period when radiation therapy was being considered after my DCIS diagnosis. I explain what the DCISionRT score is, what my score meant, and how it influenced my thinking. During this time, another area of calcifications in the same breast was biopsied — and that biopsy also confirmed DCIS. With multifocal DCIS, I had to rethink my options and face one of the hardest decisions of this journey.
