HI Friends,
Now we will discuss about Email Attachments.
Like, I have a collection and I will add file location details into that collection
and I will attach the files added to collection over mail.
------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Let's create the process
2. First I need to prepare the collection with data
3. I am going to add filed name as 'Path' and adding the files
Here is my data
Why I am adding files list to collection?
Because The file attachements we need to pass the collection object.
4. We will configure the Email service
5. Let's send mail with attachment
Here in the Attachments parameter I am passing the collection data
Before running the bot, let's have a check in gmail the permission is enabled or not
Yes, It is enabled
Now run it and check
See, I got the mail with attachement files.
------------------------------------------------------
Now We will create another bot, and read the mails from inbox.
mean I am using same Bot as of now.
Here I will retrieve the mails from mail box
1. Use Action stage same Email POP3/SMTP VBO and take the 'List messages' Action
2. It will give the output as collection having predefined fields.
Subject
From name
From address
Date Sent
Message Id
Let's run the application
In my mail having two messages. I got it into collection.
I have subject, and from addess But I didn't get the message.
let's get the messages from two mails
and add it into another collection along with message id
3. Create another collection for this with the fields message id and body text
4. Use the 'Get Message' Action to read body from mail
Pass the Message Id. for this we need to use loop
and I got the output values are body and content-type
5. Adding the empty row and assigning the body and message id to collection
Let's create another field as content-type
Let's run the bot
Sorry, Mappings wrong
See, we got the message body and content-type for both mails
Along with message body one mail having attachements
let's save those attachments into folder
Create a folder as attachments in desktop
Use the Save Attachments Action
and pass Message Id and save location folder
let's check the data and attachments
I missed to give folder name
we got the data and attachments from inbox
