I included clips from The Lion King because Stephen’s journey mirrors Simba’s - after hardship he found his way back, and Richaud plays a Rafiki-like role, guiding him through his growth. While editing the documentary, I revisited Stephen’s athletic career. Once a childhood prodigy, he later endured injuries and a long slump. During his toughest years, I hoped he would make a comeback, but I never imagined this season would be so incredible. I hope Stephen continues to write his own fairytale.
