Bleeding our resources dry at Blessington Reservoir.

I have never seen the Blessington Reservoir this low so I decided to take a walk and see were there any unusual photo opportunites to be had. Even after 6 weeks of recent rain the water level and the lake is giving us a stark warning. As humans we are really starting to bleed ourselves dry of our natural resources. Who would ever have thought this is possible in Ireland, the land of rain. Join me as I uncover some of the lakes hidden past which provokes some historcial contemplation.
