Osprey Platform Construction

Nest platforms were essential in the early recovery efforts for ospreys in New Jersey. Today around 75% of the population nests on these "man-made" platforms. Over the past 10 years, we've installed over 175 to help the population to fully recover to historic population levels and to maintain a stable osprey population. Here is a video tutorial on how to properly construct an osprey nesting platform. Download plans here: http://www.conservewildlifenj.org/dow... Video produced by Ben Wurst. Video by Greg Molyneux.
