The MacBook Notch Tier List

There are 87 apps that live in the MacBook notch now. I installed the ones worth installing, graded them on five things, and expected the free ones to win. That's not what happened. Ten notch apps on one tier list, five free, five paid on their free trials, judged on whether they work on an external monitor, whether they do anything the other 86 don't, whether I actually reach for them, how polished they feel, and what they cost to leave running all day.
