Linton and Grassington - A Walking Tour #englishcountryside #englishvillage #yorkshiredales #walkinguk #lintonfalls #visityorkshire #allcreaturesgreatandsmall #darrowby This walk starts in the picture perfect Yorkshire Dales village of Linton before moving on to explore the peaceful and historic church of St.Michael and All Angels situated on the banks of the River Wharfe. A short stroll away is an opportunity to view Linton Falls as they crash over the limestone ridges. It ends at the village of Grassington, recognised by many as the fictional village of Darrowby from Channel 5's series, 'All Creatures Great and Small'. Whilst Grassington is very charming to wander around with its cobbled market square, cafes and independent shops, I imagine it can get incredibly busy. However, as it sits directly on the Dales Way long distance path, it's not too difficult to escape the crowds and enjoy the fabulous limestone scenery that surrounds it.
