The New Orleans Saints have a running back problem. Against the Baltimore Ravens, Kamara received 10 first-half touches compared to just two for Etienne despite producing only 17 yards on those opportunities. Kamara eventually finished with 14 touches for 22 yards, while Etienne totaled 31 yards on 10 touches. The situation is especially interesting after New Orleans signed Etienne to a four-year, $52 million contract during the offseason. But the snap counts tell another part of the story. Etienne actually played more offensive snaps than Kamara against Baltimore, and his role increased significantly during the second half. So what's actually happening in the Saints backfield?
