[Burnaby Central Railway – Miniature Railway BC] A 7¼ inch gauge miniature railway runs through Confederation Park in Burnaby, and the trains are real enough to ride. We spent an evening there with our two-year-old — buying tokens, waiting on the platform while the crews worked the level crossings, and then riding the loop through the forest, over the steel trestle bridge and through the long tunnel. A steam locomotive passed us close enough to feel it. Afterwards we found the clubhouse, where the model engineers build and run the layouts by hand.
