Abandoned USC Cockaboose - Columbia, SC. Not far from USC Williams-Brice Stadium sits this caboose that was once used for the Illinois Central Railroad. This caboose, along with over 20 others, was purchased by Columbia businessman Ed Robinson for the purpose of tailgating for USC games. These cabooses were renovated and fixed up to host tailgating events, were repainted, and appropriately renamed South Carolina Cockaboose Railroad. These cockaboose were named this because of the USC Gamecocks. All of the other cabooses are still in use and are in great shape right near the stadium. This one sits alone further away from the stadium and continues to get taken over by mother nature and hit by squatters/vandals.
