In Episode 22 of Byomkesh Bakshi, Adrishya Trikon, Reba inherits her late father-in-law’s estate, learns to run the business, and cuts off her husband Sunil, giving him a fixed stipend. Sunil, seemingly innocent, secretly plots to reclaim the estate. He convinces his servant Hukum to murder Reba, then kills Hukum to cover his tracks. A stranger is spotted near the house, and Inspector Ramani, who secretly loves Reba, becomes involved. When the crimes come to light, Byomkesh investigates using a letter from Reba and a tape recorder to confront Sunil.
