Exploding onto the scene and stamping his presence on a rebuilding Memphis Grizzlies squad, Ja Morant was awarded the NBA's Rookie of the Year award for the 2019-20 NBA Season. Leading the Grizzlies to a 33-34 record in his 67 games played, Morant averaged 17.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, 7.3 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game while shooting 47.7% from the field, 33.5% from beyond the arc, and 77.6% from the free throw line.
