The day started with a peaceful breakfast in the middle of the mountains 🏔️, but then I lost my tripod remote (and yes, it took a while to find it 😅). From there, we explored the serene beauty of Chitkul before stopping at a cozy café in Thopan, where I met some amazing people, shared heartfelt conversations, and tasted delicious local food. As we moved ahead, the road blessed us with jaw-dropping views — the Khab Sangam (where the Spiti & Sutlej rivers meet 🌊), and the mesmerizing Nako Village with its calm Nako Lake. But travel is unpredictable… 🌧️ Just 3 km before reaching Tabo, heavy rains and landslides stopped us in our tracks. We ended up spending the night at a military camp — a twist I’ll never forget.
