The Karakoram Highway is the highest paved international road in the world — and this is the final stretch, from Hunza all the way up to Khunjerab Pass on the China border, compressed into one drive. The KKH (sometimes called the China-Pakistan Friendship Highway) climbs from Hunza Valley through Passu, Sost, and the Khunjerab National Park before topping out at 15,397 feet at the Pakistan-China border.
