평소 연락조차 뜸했던 친구에게 갑작스러운 결혼식 초대를 받은 제인. 주말 아르바이트까지 미루고 주변 친구들의 눈치를 보며 결혼식에 참석하지만, 정작 자신을 초대한 친구는 차갑게 외면한다. 신랑에게 다른 친구들은 소개하면서 제인만 제외하고, 서운함을 털어놓자 돌아오는 말은 “네가 너무 예민한 거 아니야?” 친구라는 이름 아래 존재하는 보이지 않는 갑과 을. 관계를 유지하기 위해 한쪽만 배려하고 참아야 한다면, 과연 그것을 진정한 우정이라 부를 수 있을까? 이 이야기는 우정이라는 이름으로 포장된 인간관계의 불평등과 그 안에서 느끼는 소외감에 관한 이야기다. Jane receives an unexpected wedding invitation from a friend who rarely even keeps in touch. Despite having a weekend part-time job, she feels pressured by their mutual friends and reluctantly attends the wedding. But the very friend who invited her treats her coldly, introducing everyone else to the groom while deliberately leaving Jane out. When Jane expresses how hurt she feels, all she hears is, “Aren't you being too sensitive?” Even among friends, there can be an invisible imbalance of power. If one person must always compromise, endure, and put others first just to maintain a relationship, can it really be called true friendship?
