Energising the UK Battery Supply Chain Part 9 Battery Materials (Get Funding To Move Faster) | SCI

Current UK government targets on the production of EVs will cause a high demand from the UK battery industries. Having a UK-based supply chain will be vital to meet these demands, whilst also providing economic benefits. To achieve this, new technologies and processes will need to be scaled up, and companies across the sector will need to collaborate. This will require a significant amount of investment. Funding is there but often difficult to find and tortuous. In part 9 of this series of talks, Dr Thomas Barlett from Innovate UK and Dr Hadi Mortarzadeh, APC UK, will be discussing funding; and Martin Dowson, of HVM Catapult, will talk about what is it like to be in a collaboration.
