Bill Gaither Is Going Home — What 24 Friends Planned Will Move You

At 90, Bill Gaither is going home. On October 17 and 18, the gospel legend returns to Indiana for a Hometown Homecoming Weekend at the Gas City Performing Arts Center — nearly two dozen Homecoming friends gathering for two days of music where it all began. From a 1956 college trio to 700 songs, from one unforgettable afternoon in 1992 to a global Homecoming family, this is the story of the schoolteacher from Alexandria who changed gospel music forever — and why his homecoming at 90 might be the most emotional weekend yet.
