✨ A Journey Through Tuscany: Piombino, Baratti & Elba Island 🌊☀️ Welcome to the first part of my Italian summer vlog! 🇮🇹 In this episode, I take you along on a beautiful journey through the Tuscan coast, discovering two places that combine breathtaking landscapes, crystal-clear waters, history, and the authentic beauty of Italy. Our first stop is Piombino, a charming coastal town overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. With a history that dates back centuries, Piombino has always played an important role thanks to its strategic position overlooking the sea. From the town, we headed to the beautiful Gulf of Baratti, one of the most fascinating areas along the Tuscan coast. The turquoise waters, golden sand, and surrounding Mediterranean vegetation make this place truly special. Baratti is also rich in history: the area was once an important Etruscan settlement and a center for ironworking, and traces of this ancient civilization can still be found throughout the surrounding archaeological park. The following day, our journey continued across the sea to the beautiful Island of Elba, the largest island of the Tuscan Archipelago. Elba is famous not only for its spectacular beaches and clear waters, but also for its fascinating history. The island is particularly known for its connection to Napoleon Bonaparte, who was exiled here in 1814 and spent several months on the island before returning to France. During our time on Elba, we visited Spiaggia di Sotto Bomba, a peaceful and picturesque beach surrounded by the island's characteristic rocky coastline and Mediterranean landscape. It was the perfect place to slow down, enjoy the sea, and take in the natural beauty of Elba. 🌊 From the ancient Etruscan history of Baratti to the fascinating story of Napoleon and the breathtaking coastline of Elba, this trip was a wonderful combination of history, nature, sea, and unforgettable moments.
