[EN] In this video, I invite you to travel along the magnificent Douro Line, between the stations of Pocinho and Tua, from a rather unusual perspective — filmed from the rear carriage of InterRegional train 866. Throughout the journey, the River Douro accompanies us between steep slopes and vineyards, revealing landscapes of unparalleled beauty. Although the section to Barca d’Alva remains closed, there appears to be political will to reopen it — even if the works are slow to begin. Until then, the service as far as Pocinho keeps the spirit of this historic railway alive, serving the local communities each day and, increasingly, the many travellers who come here to experience the charm of the Douro by train.
