Visiting Sera Monastery & Watching Monks Debate 🧘 | Lhasa, Tibet | 4K HDR 60FPS Join me for a Saturday afternoon visit to Sera Monastery in Lhasa, Tibet. Entering through the southern gate, I walked through one of the most important Gelug monasteries in Tibet. Along the way, I visited Jey College, the Tsokchen Assembly Hall and the main halls of Sera Monastery, exploring the courtyards, traditional Tibetan architecture and everyday atmosphere inside the monastery. One of the highlights of the visit was the Sera Monastery debate courtyard, where monks gathered beneath the trees for their famous Buddhist debates. The lively discussions, gestures and interactions offered a fascinating glimpse into Tibetan Buddhist monastic life. After spending the afternoon exploring the monastery, I left through the southern gate.
